Engine 78,is a 1996 E-One with a 1250 GPM pump(by Hale) and a 1000 gallon tank. The workhorse of the department keeps chugging along, with a few dings,rattles and sqeaks.

Rescue 78 is a first line 4x4 ALS vehicle which was bought with funds donated to the Ponce Inlet Volunteer Firefighters association.(thanks Miss Connie)

4x4 capable, Attack 78, currently is used for limited access areas. It is stocked with water rescue equipment such as swiftwater vests,fins,gloves and helmets,Pfds,throwbags,and a rescue board seen mounted on top.(Board donated by "MAD DOG" surf shop on A1A in Daytona Beach Shores...THANKS MAD DOG!)

Engine used in 80's and 90's,first it was green then painted red by the volunteers(see photo "aug.1994" )
